How to best care for your fresh cut blooms

Place in low, indirect sunlight. Avoid direct sun to prevent petal burn. Keep at room temperature (63-80 F) away from drafts or vents.

For arrangements in vase, change water daily and trim stems every other day.  Do not trim stems of narcissus/daffodils if they are included in your mixed arrangement.

For hand tied bouquets, cut stems at about 1'' from the bottom of stems at a 45 degree angle. Remove foliage so that no leaves are underwater. Place in cool water with floral food. To prolong vase life, change water daily and trim stems every other day.

For event/wedding bouquets, place your flowers in a cool dark place such as a basement, and away from drafts.  Boutonnieres, wrist corsages, floral tattoos, styling florals, and flower crowns can be placed in the fridge away from the back of the fridge and away from fruits and vegetables.
