ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the Philippines, a land of lush landscapes surrounded by orchids and bougainvillea.  My grandmother instilled in me a love for flowers and it has followed me to the present.  I am a wife, a mother, a surgical nurse, traveler, foodie, artist, a gardener at heart...

Through this endeavor I hope to inspire you to find beauty in nature, and to revel in the present season. I am excited to share my passion with you and bring some happiness your way through flowers!

I believe strongly in sustainability. PETALS + INK strives to source locally and seasonally.  Some flowers are sourced locally and some I grow or nurture from seed in my own garden. I feel it makes the bouquets even more special and meaningful. If a certain flower cannot be obtained locally, it will come from other American flower farms and as a last resort from a different country.  When it is off season, flowers are ordered from wholesalers that also support American grown and local flowers.  

PETALS + INK is proud to be foam-free. Using sustainable and organic practices whenever possible is important to me and I am so grateful to all of you who are making a conscious choice to support local small businesses who strive to be environmentally sustainable in every way we can.  From composting to using materials that can be recycled, we can all strive to take care of the land that our children will inherit.  It is hard work but it is all worth it in the end when you feel good about what you're doing and love doing it!
